ONE 4 ALL Service apartments

Our Client approached us with the idea of building a service apartments that serves for all people in all possible ways, also he wanted the design to be not so commercial as he himself with his family might move in to the building in his post retirement.

So there started the challenge, we designed the service apartments with four seperate units, a Studio type, a three bedded in the ground floor and a single bhk and a two bedded in the first floor, all put together in a way to look as one single entity called as the ” ONE 4 ALL ” Service apartments.

THE W HOUSE

The 1100 sqft plot comprises of a 2bhk in ground floor a 3 bhk in first floor and partial second floor and a singel bhk in second floor, It is designed in a way to look as one single house from the outside perspective.

The house is named after client “William”, the W pattern is carried out in the exterior as well as interior, Chevron and herringbone pattern is used to depict the letter W.

THE CHEMISTRY HOUSE

The client who is nearing his marriage wanted a abode for himself in a space of 600 sqft, So we wanted to make the space thats brings in so much of joy and closure between the couple The planning was made in a studio apartment type with providing privacy as well as some togetherness.

Inspired from Mani Ratnam movies the brick cladding brought into play. The garden area was designed in a way to connect with the kitchen, when one busy working in kitchen and the other relax in garden can still be connected and there builds the chemsitry, so thats the house named after

STUDIO 29-Music Recording Studio

We started the Planning processfor the 400sqft studio with the simple motto to work on the acoustics mainly and to make the circulation and the perspective go visually towards the composer workstation.so we placed the workstation exactly opposite to the entry with the fabric background and landscapes knocking the vertical windows.

About the color pallette. Black and white pallette got inspired from the piano keys since our client being the keyboard player for a famous tamil band and a music composer. So the whole interiors and the elevation are played subtle with black and white base and grey accompaning along. About the elevation, its simple black and white elevation with black color guiding towards the entry. and seating provided along with plantaions for a breezy evening conversations. The customer Lounge is worked in a way to flow along with the plan yet to stay isloated. And with grand piano being put in the customer lounge we wanted to bring in some glimpse of luxury, the vintage black and white glossy diagonal floor pattern and a curvy crystal chandlier served the purpose well.
